Project: Trading Opportunities and Promotion of Transparency in the Internal Gas Market

• We undertook a study of how gas emergency services are provided in the US, Australia, South America and Western Europe compared to the UK.

 

Project: Gas System Assessment
Country: Greece
Client: An Oil Major
• EML was asked to perform a technical evaluation of the condition of the existing Athens gas transportation system and of the standards of materials and construction.

• In addition we assessed the gas system capabilities and performance, reviewed gas use expansion projections and the implications for gas network extension requirements.

• Finally we produced cost estimates for system expansion works.

 

Project: Gas Network Survey

Client: A Property Development Adviser
• The company advised on the technical requirements and procedures to be adopted to obtain gas transporter approval for the connection of a new gas distribution network (serving a new leasure facility and retail complex) to the existing gas supply system and conceptual design of a gas booster installation.

 

Project: LNG Importation Expansion Study
Country: Greece
Client: A Power Generation Company
• EML carried out an identification of potential LNG export sources and shipping requirements. We then evaluated the facilities and planned expansion prospects at existing Greek LNG importation terminal, and assessed the expansion requirements to match increasing LNG supplies.

 

Project: Georgian North-South Gas Pipeline Project
Country: Georgia
Client: Georgian Gas International Corporation
EML undertook technical, cost assessment and tariff modelling activities. Technical components included:

• The formulation of safety and environmental requirements and review of in-country procedures.

• An engineering and organisational assessment of existing (for rehabilitation) and proposed gas transmission systems.
